faire: The Hg reading "greet" is found in just four other witnesses: the ungrouped pair Bo1/Ph2, Ps and Tc1. Occasionally elsewhere we see Bo1/Ph2 and Ps preserving archetypal readings, but the strength of support for Ch El "faire" from all across the tradition, including o and cd, suggest that "faire" is the archetypal reading.
